They are one of my first signing-up clients. We were already friends way back in Sutomo 1. They were my juniors. Ciek used to come play at our apartment back in Melbourne. They are a perfect innerly & outerly beautiful couple. I love working with both of them so much. Not only are they beautiful clients, they are also beautiful friends :)
They gave me the honour to plan their weddings, even without having met face-to-face. This was back in December, only a few days after I launched my 'soft opening' (haha) through Friendster. I can't thank you guys enough for the trust. It's my luck to have such a wonderful couple like you guys. Thank you much :)
OK. Now let's switch to S.L.I.M mode (Say.Less.Image.More)...
'SAND UNITY'
The 'sand unity' ceremony has a very strong relation to beach weddings.
It symbolizes the unity of two different lives into one.
Sorry I made you guys go back to your exact R.O.M spot at Mentone beach just to 'steal' 5 kgs of the sand.
Please don't mention my name when you get caught for VANDALISM!
Pasukan Pendobrak Pintu!!!
Pasukan Penghadang Pintu!!!
A very happy groomsman, about to sing...
'Tui Mien Te Ni Hai Khan Kuo Lai, Khan Kuo Lai, Khan Kuo Lai... La La La La La La ....'
THE RECEPTION
The reception was held at the famous Wisma Benteng, Medan's popular wedding reception venue. I heard it was fully booked for the whole December month (the one whole month!)
THE AMBIENCE
They were married back in 11 Nov 2007, at Mentone Beach, Melbourne. We decided on a beach-themed wedding but didn't want it to look too cheesy like other beach-themed weddings normally do. We decided to take only the 'elements' of sea and somehow modify them into a beautiful stage setting.
The balloons represent sea water bubbles and we had seaweeds transformed into an abstract piece of foam-carving.
The pillars were topped with an aquarium-like vase, decorated with seasand, seashells and blue hydrangea flowers.
A matching wedding cake, with bubbly balls too :)
Yayyy!!! Matching favours too... Sea-inspired jelly candles
(A very useful favour for Medan people, especially for people with no gensets!)
THE MOMENTS
WALKING THE AISLE
THE SURPRISE 'LOVE STORY' from Aise
A special surprise from the bride, a photoclip of their love journey personally created by the bride herself.
(He's one very lucky man, ain't he?)
touched by the surprise...
'thanx dear. i'm speechless. i love you'
THE DUET
He went to me, "Sien, wa be ki ie lirik liau. Wa cin2 be ki liau. Si loh".
Hence, this picture (Ciek listening to the real song from the CD player. We're lucky I had a copy ready in hand)
'I'm thankful everyday... for The Gift'
(Hoorayyy!!! He got it all right!)
THE FIRST DANCE
Due to time constraint, we had only three very very short dance classes. They were done at my mini TV-room. Really inadequate. But lucky me they were very smart people with 1 left & 1 right feet (each). They nailed it down exquisitely.

THE TEARS OF HAPPINESS
Saying graces to mum&dad... with tears rolling down her cheeks
She's so beautiful even with tears...
Ciek, I'm sure you know what an angel you married right?
SPECIAL CONTRIBUTIONS BY SPECIAL FRIENDS
Ciek's fighting for the mic. He's the one who's paying for everything afterall.
'Well done, guys'
THE BOUQUET THROWING...!!!
Who's the lucky next?
It's the curry fish!!! Let's hope the fish has a beautiful wedding too over in Heaven.
Oh Wait!!! Ciek's dad snatched the bouquet from the poor curry fish!!!
It's quite unrealistic to send the bouquet to Heaven (since the fish had already left). So they decided on giving real women the chance. And the lucky 'real' girl's our own sweet bridesmaid, Eny!!! Though she had to have her body splashed with the luck-charm curry.
THE SIMPLY 'CUTE'S!
With Luv,
Lilysan
